Allans garage is easy to find at Wixenford, just 10 minutes from Plymouth city centre.

You'll see the Wixenford signpost on Merafield Road, Plympton and Haye Road, Plymstock.

The junction is where these two roads meet, opposite Drake Cemetery and beside Stag Lodge layby. Stag Lodge is the old entrance to Saltram House in Plymouth. (There are stautes of stags, in the layby.)

Follow the Wixenford sign and turn into the lane (see arrow on photo above). The garage is a couple of minutes drive along the lane, pictured at the top of this website.

From the A38/Plympton: (6 minutes from B&Q, Plympton.)
From Marsh Mills roundabout (Plymouth), Devon.
Take the 'Plympton' exit onto Plymouth Road B3416. Staying in the right hand lane, continuing on Plymouth Road. Turn right, following the 'Saltram House' sign. You are now on Cot Hill (speed camera). At the top of the hill, turn right onto Merafield Road. Continue past Saltram House entrance and up over the flyover. Pass 'Gables Farm' cat & dogs home. 'Wixenford' is signposted ahead of you. Follow the sign, turning right (opposite Drakes cemetery) across the main road and into the lane that joins 'Stag Lodge' layby. Drive to the end of the lane, past 'Ace Fire Alarms'. You’ll see 'Allans Vehicle Services' sign on the left, before 'LTC Scaffolding'.

From A379 The Embankment/Plymstock: (10 mins from the Embankment.)
Take the A379 'Plymstock' road across the Embankment Bridge and onto Billacombe Road. At the first (Morrisons) roundabout, go straight ahead. At the next (Fairway Furniture) roundabout, go straight ahead. (Do not turn into Colesdown Hill). At the next roundabout take the first left exit, into Haye Rd. Stay on Haye Rd until you see a 'speed camera' sign. Then the ‘Wixenford’ sign. Ahead of you (opposite Drake cemetery), is the Wixenford turning. This is a sharp left turn into the lane that joins the 'Stag Lodge' layby. Drive to the end of the lane, passing 'Ace Fire Alarms'. You’ll see 'Allans Vehicle Services' on the left, before 'LTC Scaffolding'.

From South Hams A379: (5 minutes from the Elburton roundabout).
At the Elburton roundabout, go straight ahead. At the next roundabout, turn right
into Haye Road. Stay on Haye Road until you see a 'speed camera' sign. Then the ‘Wixenford’ sign. Ahead of you (opposite Drake cemetery), is the Wixenford turning. This is a sharp left turn into the lane that joins the 'Stag Lodge' layby. Drive to the end of the lane, passing 'Ace Fire Alarms'.
