‘Vehicle’ shall mean any mechanical and/or electrical form of transport, including keys, accessories and anything attached to it or left in it or on it.
‘Allans’ shall mean Allan Bugg T/A Allans Vehicle Services whose business address is Wixenford Depot, Colesdown Hill, Plymouth, PL9 8AA.
Vehicles, keys and contents left at owners risk. If loss or damage occurs as a result of our negligence, you are covered by our insurance. If loss or damage occurs that is
not a result of our negligence, vehicle owners insurance must be utilsed in order to make any claim. Booking your vehicle with us, leaving your vehicle here or moving your vehicle within the premises
area is considered to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Price includes vat where stated.
Invoice must be paid in full on collection of vehicle.
We prefer payment by debit card, bank transfer or cash.
We no longer accept credit cards due to increased charges.
Vehicles must be collected upon notification of completion of work, unlesss other arrangements are made in writing. Vehicle will not be released unless invoice is paid in full. Failure to
collect the vehicle will result in storage charges being applied. Out of hours, 24 hour drop off and collection can be arranged at customers own risk. See

Allans Vehicle Services (Allans) reserves the right to sell any vehicle which it reasonably believes to have been abandoned and shall be entitled to regard as abandoned any vehicle which has been
left at the premises for more than 28 days without prior agreement in writing or by acknowledged email.
Before proceeding with the disposal of abandoned vehicles, Allans will:
(i) make reasonable enquiries with a view to identifying and contacting the registered keeper of the vehicle in question.
(ii) give 3 months notice of its intention to do so to the registered keeper by post addressed to the registered keeper’s last known address.
Abandoned vehicles will be sold wherever practicable and the proceeds of sale will be applied in and towards satisfaction of sums owing to Allans by the customer, together with the expense of sale
and in connection with such sale. Allans shall be entitled to charge reasonable charges in respect of the period during which the vehicle is in their possession.
Any balance of these sales proceeds remaining after satisfaction of such sums shall be held by Allans on behalf of the registered keeper of the vehicle and paid over on proof of entitlement,
provided such proof has been produced within three months of the sale or as required by English law, otherwise the entitlement shall be lost.
24hour recording is used on the premises for security. Images are routinely destroyed when not needed for legal purposes.
What is covered
Our workmanship and the parts we supply, road use of vehicles and damage or loss caused to vehicles, keys or contents, as a result of our own negligence.
What is not covered
The parts that customers supply cannot be covered by our insurance, therefore we do not fit parts supplied by customers.
Damage to or loss of vehicles, keys and contents, which is not caused as a result of our negligence.
We reserve the right to move vehicles in the workshop, parking area, yard, private road or highway, by driving or otherwise, to such extent as necessary to avoid
obstruction and for the arrangement of our workload.
We additionally reserve the right, where the premises has to be closed either permanently or temporarily in whole or in part or has to be evacuated in cases of
emergency or for maintenance and/or other works to be undertaken, to remove any vehicle at any time to any other reasonably convenient parking area within the premises or otherwise as may be
To the extent that it may be necessary to do so in the exercise of the rights conferred upon us under this condition, 'Allans', its servants or agents shall have the
right to drive or otherwise take the vehicle on the public highway.
The terms and conditions apply whether the vehicle, keys and contents have been left by or moved by the
customer or an agent of the customer, or left by or moved by us or our agent. Nobody has authority to accept liability on our behalf.
In the unlikely event of a complaint arising, please bring it to the attention of the Proprietor, Mr Allan Bugg. He will ensure that it
will be investigated quickly and fairly. Our customers can be confident that we would take a complaint seriously and they will be listened to and kept informed.
If our customer is not satisfied with the resolution offered, they can put the complaint in writing to the Buy With Confidence team
